Crystal contacted me asking me if I would do a breastfeeding session with her.
I just love little details.
And of course naked baby.
I was contacted by Kara to see if I could do her homecoming photos. She was surprising her husband.
I had an idea. I sent her friend out with a phone to say she had a recorded greeting for him.
Then Kara ran out and surprised him!!
He was super happy to be surprised by her. He wasn’t supposed to see her for a few more weeks. She had gone home for the deployment and he was to fly out there to see her. But she pulled one over on him 🙂

Haley and Brooke are an amazing couple. By the time I left their session the slight twang I have in my accent had come back.
They have just moved to San Diego and this is their first duty station.
I am glad that I had opportunity to work with these 2 amazing women!
I love working with Hearts Apart. They are a wonderful organization that gives back to our Military Community.
Nichole and Michael are a lovely couple.
Nichole and Katie are actually friends. You saw Katie’s session earlier.
I loved working with both Nichole and Michael. And look forward to working with them again!
Rachel contacted me and asked if I was available for the USS Zumwalt homecoming.
The USS Zumwalt was built in Bathe, Maine and was making her way to her homeport in San Diego, CA.
Rachel had this awesome sign made.
And of course there is nothing like spotting your husband walking off the ship!
And of course wrapping your arms around him.

Michelle and Kyle may look very familiar to you. As I was their homecoming photographer.
Michelle had contacted me about booking a Portrait Session. During the session I had made a comment to Kyle that I could make it snow.
I loved working with both Michelle and Kyle. They were up to some of my crazy ideas and even had a few of their own.

I was honored that Katie asked me to be her photographer. I love working with Hearts
Apart but it truly is wonderful when someone requests you to be their photographer.
Can I just say how much I loved Katie’s red dress.
I am a huge fan of sun flares. And I got some awesome ones during their session 🙂
They are a truly lovely couple. I enjoyed working with them.
I love working with Hearts Apart and being one of their photographers. I give back to our military community in a lot of ways and working with Hearts Apart is one of them.

I had joked on Instagram this was the original Mannequin Challenge.
But when they were released from standing at attention boy were they excited. And none the more than this couple.
But to see his face after he spotted his wife was priceless.

I was so happy when Michelle and Brad returned as a client. But I was even more happy to add Axel as a client. I photographed Michelle’s maternity session.
Axel looked super cute in his reindeer outfit.
And look at Michelle. She looks amazing after just having their first child!!
I truly enjoying working with this family and can’t wait to photograph them in the future!
