The Ponder Family is a dual military family. Both in the Air Force.
Because of where they are located we met up at Prospect Park in Redlands, CA.
And lucky the cherry blossoms were still in bloom.

Lauren is a wonderful woman. Her husband is in the Navy. And she is pregnant with a Rainbow baby.

She wanted a sunset sessions (a pregnancy progression series was done with her). And I do have to say I love the sunsets here in San Diego. They can be beautiful.
I loved working with Lauren. I wish her and her new family luck.
Welcome Home
Driving from a far place to welcome home her husband. As they are not stationed in San Diego but her husband went on deployment from San Diego.
The boys are back in town. Now I laughed very hard during this homecoming. Because the ship went way past the pier and had to back up. Normally at this base the ships due what I call drift in. But in this case it didn’t happen and we both laughed.
Seeing you for the first time after months apart is a special thing. SO many emotions.
That moment you reunited. And walk away knowing you’re finally together. Makes it all worth it.

It’s good to finally have you back. The smiles on the kids’ faces. And the joy in Jaclyn’s face welcoming home her husband.
